Skoda is all set to expand its current line of cars with a new sporty SUV based on the design clues of the mighty Range Rover Evoque and a swoopy Volkswagen CC inspired Octavia,
reports Autocar.
Skoda’s design chief Josef Kaban says “It is being designed and will do something different from the norm, like the Yeti did. But it won’t be too faddish. It will be a more expensive car, so it needs to still look good in a few years, as customers will probably keep them for a while.”

Skoda plans to replace its ageing Skoda Fabia, which will be previewed at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The next generation Skoda Fabia would certainly have design clues from the existing Skoda S2000 rally car.
